Packtin, an innovative startup founded in the laboratories of the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia, aims to valorize plant by-products to create raw materials, extracts, edible coatings, and biodegradable films.

2019

Packtin began providing research and development consulting to agri-food companies on new product development, shelf-life extension, and the development and application of innovative and sustainable technologies.

2020

Packtin filed its first patents for its products and technologies.

2022

In the “Factory of the Future” in Reggio Emilia, production of innovative circular flours derived from the valorization of agri-food by-products begins.

2023

Packtin joined the Upcycled Food Association and Clust-ER AgriFood to create new contacts and opportunities in the growing global UpCycling network and the regional agri-food sector.

2025

Packtin launches ReFlavor, the exclusive line of circular economy flours and baked goods.

Every day we strive to help companies in the cosmetic, nutraceutical, and food sectors make their production chain circular. To do this, we have developed sustainable processes aimed at transforming vegetable waste into quality raw materials, we offer R consulting to agri-food companies wishing to optimize processes, and we provide a drying and powder supply service for third parties.
