ABOUT US
Supporters and promoters of upcycling
Packtin was born from the passion and commitment of a group of researchers from the Agri-Food Science, Technology, and Biotechnology departments at the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia. Since 2017, we have sought to valorize food by-products and promote a new circular agri-food supply chain.
To do this, we have developed an innovative process that transforms by-products into new raw materials, thanks to the concept of upcycling, and an R&D service that helps companies optimize their internal production and adopt a more sustainable approach.
